Homebrew
Homebrew is a tool many developers use to install apps from the Terminal. It is one of two ways to install itokens, and it is entirely optional.
New to Homebrew? There is no need to learn it. Please download itokens from the Download page and follow the short steps there: it takes about a minute and gives you exactly the same app, which keeps itself up to date.
Install
Homebrew
For people who use the Terminal. Homebrew keeps itokens up to date with brew upgrade.
$ brew install --cask itokens-app/tap/itokensHomebrew places itokens in your Applications folder. Open it from there; the first time, it looks at your Mac, asks how to refer to you and sets itself up, as described in Getting started.
Update
itokens updates itself. To update it through Homebrew instead:
brew upgrade --cask itokens
Uninstall
brew uninstall --cask itokens
This removes the app. To also remove what itokens set up on your Mac, see Uninstall.
Do not have Homebrew yet?
You do not need it for itokens. If you would like to use it for other things, its official site, brew.sh, explains how to install it.
